So I'm using an app I got from the App Store. The app is silent. Everything is nice and quiet. And then BOOM! up pops an ad from the ad store and blasts me with music and voice. I'm hurriedly trying to kill the volume. I don't mind seeing the ad, as the app I got is free, but geez, must I endure the sound? Is there a way to prevent that noise? I'd rather not have to kill the volume every time I use that SOUNDLESS app.

if there is no option to pay/aquire a ”full” version to remove the ads from the app, you can create a “silent” focus mode or a shortcut to start the app which first sets the sound to silent, then executes the app.
