So I answered the million (ok, an exaggeration but still) startup questions, and now I'm on the "Setup is configuring your computer" part toward the end, with the spinning logo.

It's been on this for like 10 minutes now...

Is this normal? Should I just keep letting it run? Should I restart it?
 
Leave it over night.

I am not sure but sometimes these things can take a long time to complete. I would let it do this overnight if needed. If you turn it off you run the risk of screwing up whatever it is working on.

Sometimes it does update stuff that seems to take hours... I love macs but the one thing they still haven't gotten right is the update... I have seen more macs bricked by updates then anything...
