Silver bottom piece

So I was thinking about the black back piece for the iPhone (http://cnn.cn/shop/apple-iphone-metal-black-rear-cover-p-1766.html) and I thought, why is there not just a silver piece. It seems a lot easier to change and it would make the whole the whole back one color. Do they make this?

I don't know if they make a small silver attachment for the bottom piece. I wouldn't care too much about it. It's just overlooked, in my opinion. I wouldn't mind having it silver, but I'm not going to go out to buy it so that it matches.

When I whip out my iPhone, most people gasp and say "Is that an iPhone?!?" not "Why is the bottom black?!?"

Plus, there is no way in hell I'm buying that black rear cover for $46.99!

A lot of "metallic" paints for plastic are actually metal-based. (to some degree)
