silver colored specs underneath iPhone glass?

I've had my 3G phone since launch day, but am now starting to see silver specs (supposidly from the trim) stuck underneath areas around the top and bottom of the phone covered by glass; which obviously is very annoying.

Has anyone else had this problem? Apple replaced my original iPhone because of bubbles appearing under the phone, will they replace the 3G for this issue?

I've got a few little specs underneath the screen.

Apprently with the iPhone 3G the screen and the LCD and all that isn't stuck together like the last one? Maybe this could be the problem.

just called and told apple about the issue and they setup an appointment for me to go down to the apple store and just swap my phone in for a new one. pretty tight if you ask me
