I brought out an old mac game sim city 2000 ver 1.2 and when I try to play it, it says the classic environment is not support. Any ideas on how I can get it to play.

Oh great wife is going to be pissed :) well I better get ready to be yelled at.

Personally, besides my MacBook Pro, I have an iMac G3 that plays all my classic games. The iMac cost me $25. I also have Sim City 2000, runs flawlessly.

Well for one I have to go out and buy OS9 because I do not own a copy. The old mac I had was a hand me down that ran OS 7.6.1. Well I will figure something out.

Although I'm not sure of the exact legal position, I believe Sim City 2000 for the PC has now been classed as abandonware. Since there was a DOS version available, you should be able to run it in DOSBox should you be able to find a download of the game for that platform. I wouldn't normally recommend this, but as you've bought a copy of the game...
