I am one of the weird people who does not use addy book on my mac, as all my contacts are in my SIM card...so...when I plug in my old SIM (I have a black RAZR) to the iPhone will it have all my same names and #s there? I dont really feel like setting up contacts, I just want to plug in the SIM and go. Also, for all the pics and text messages, do any of those transfer too? thanks

I don't believe the iPhone will look at the SIM card for any contact info.

I'd suggest sync'ing your RAZR to your Mac. Then, when you sync the iPhone, it will get your contacts through AddressBook. You don't have to use AddressBook, from that point on (although, you might find having contact addresses and email handy on the iPhone, for the Map app and sending pics, if nothing else).

edit: That being said, I'm not sure what advantage there would be to swapping SIM cards - just use the one already installed in the iPhone. You won't have to worry about any compatibility issues that way (depending on how old your RAZR is, the SIM care might not be "current").

how do I set up my RAZR for contacts? I have never even used the Address Book program so I dont know how to use it lol:cool:
