I bought a new Iphone for my wife yesterday and when I plugged into my mac to activate I got the warning "No Sim Card".
I tuned the phone off then back on and activation was successful.

My wife called me today that the phone again said "No Sim Card".
I had her power down then back up and everything was fine.

Anyone run across this before??

Thanks

I've seen this before with a SIM card that was not properly seated.
Power off the phone then remove and reinstall the SIM card.
If it persists, take it back for a replacement.

Top of the phone... there is a little hole between the power button and the headphone jack.
Insert paper clip (gently) and watch the SIM tray rise. ;)
You'll have a "duh moment" when you see it.

thats what I figured. But was hesitant to go jabbing a paper clip in. Reminded me of removing a floppy from my first Mac SE.

By the way, re-seating the sim seemed to fix the problem.

THANKS ALL!!!
