What are the main upsides of purchasing a sim free iphone? I am planning to purchase an IP 12 pro max either via outright purchase or IUP. My carrier is AT&T and I have read on other threads that IUP is unavailable for sim free iphones. But I may want to switch over to Verizon soon - Is the Pro Max AT&T device compatible with the Verizon network?
