I jailed my iphone under 3.0 to use a UK iphone in the US with my ATT sim.

I had problems with jailbreaking it again for 3.01 but eventually got a reloaded hopefully jailbroken phone. Cydia is working so I guess it's good.

The only problem is my ATT Sim is not recognised. The SIM is fine but it's showing as invalid Sim.

Do I need to do anything specific to unlock the phone so it recognises a non UK sim?

Any thoughts? The only way I could get the jailbreak to load was to pull the cable midway but it seems lots of folks had the same issue and I am able to load apps from Cydia...

Yes, after you've jailbroken you still need to unlock. You can use Ultrasn0w to do that and its availble through Cydia.

This is an unlocking website. Please view the website to get more info about visit my site

Why would anyone want to visit that site and pay for something that is available free ?

Anyone wishing to jailbreak and unlock just visit iclarified for instructions and links, if any advice is required this site is a great help just use the search function first as most answers will already be there.

There is NO need to pay to do this !
