Sim2: The most frustrating but fun game ever!!!

I recently solved my stupid graphics glitch by holding the command key at startup and doing the ''rendering" thing... and finally re-figured out how to get custom content to work on my game...now it won't even start up! i have the patches i need and my specs are fine, obviously, because the game was working fine before! HELP! ASAP!

You need manual download for custom contents because package installer isn't very stable and won't install so properly.

When you download it then drag on your desktop then go Documents > EA Games > The Sims 2 > Downloads, also make sure if your custom content is enabled on game too.

i am currently downloading manually but it always freezes... and the macs aren't supposed to crash, but it seems like it is, i can't get the sims2 screen off. help!!

That's strange, it don't happen to me.

Did your custom content has package at end, such as terrybear.package with solid white paper then put in Documents > EA > The Sims 2 > Downloads

Just let you know that you can suffer from bad download content to screw this game up, just be careful, if found it's bad then throw in trash.

If your game crash then press command, option and esc to force quit then you will back to desktop.

Games on Mac can be crash so randomly, same goes to PC.

How many RAM that you have?

i have plenty of ram not sure how much. the .package content is uploading but the sims2pack and rar files are not uploading to the game... how do i do that?

I have the whole set for my pc and mac and it will kill hours so fast heh.

What is the "rendering" thing? i have tried clicking on the dock while holding command but there is no option to open in a new window.
I would love to fix this graphics problem
