iPhone simlock when jailbreaking

Hi I have a simlock on my iPhone 5 (orange France). Quite expensive to unlock (120 euros). When evasi0n comes out, will i be able to unlock it on the old method? Or surely doesnt?

Evasi0n is a jailbreaking tool; not an unlock tool. So surely it won't do it.

I doubt any further software unlocks will be developed; more factory unlocked phones new and used on the market, IMEI unlocks and changed legislation.
