Simple 2.1 speaker setup for wall mounted TV

So I'm wall mounting a TV in my home office and am looking for a simple 2.1 setup to hook up to the TV so I don't have to listen to the tinny built in speakers. I'm not OVERLY concerned about the sound quality; I'm just looking for a set of computer speakers, I guess. Ones that would be easy to mount on the wall, look okay, sound halfway decent, and wouldn't require a stereo receiver to hook up (my TV has a headphone port)

Has anybody else done this with their wall-mounted TV? Any suggestions on speakers would be greatly appreciated.

I guess it depends on your budget but you can get great sound quality with a sound bar. Some of them even have a wireless subwoofer and you can hook the optical connection from your hdtv to the soundbar. I have this one in my garage and it's on sale now for $69:

I would also recommend a soundbar. There are many choices and a wide range of prices. I don't have hands on experience with any, but this is definitely how I would go if I wanted to do what you're doing.
