Hi,

I've spent the last hour trying to figure out exactly what cable I need to connect my Focal XS speaker system to my LG 47" Infinia TV. The connections are as follows:

TV:
-Optical out
-Headphone out

Focal XS:
-Analog aux mini jack in

I've had the stereo connected from headphone out->aux in, but the sound is too low. So at this point I'd like to use optical->aux in , but I dont know and don't seem to be able to find out whether this is possible when my aux is analog?

If anyone has any other smart suggestions Id be very happy to hear them.

Cheers.

Would this work? It's an optical stereo cable.

no, it's still optical, you would need a convertor of some sort,

Have you tried turning off the speakers on your TV, and then turning the volume up more?
