Simple elegant daily journal app

I think in one of these threads I read a week ago, someone raved about a journal app that looks clean, easy and uncluttered. I took a quick look at it and now I can't remember it. Having tested other apps and none is it but the one I saw (and can't remember) is what I'm asking for help with.

No, I tried it and wasn't crazy about it.

Well, the other big one is MacJournal: https://danschimpf.com/

Although I'd say it's less clean than Day One, or at least the "classic" version of Day One that I'm using—maybe the new version is more cluttered.

It is iOS only though so not a Mac app. It’s minimalistic but with tasteful details and hidden features you might enjoy.
