I have an original IPOD shuffle.
When I try to play it flashes yellow and green lights and stops.
What do I do?

Does it need to be in my computer's USB port for a while to charge?

It's gone funny. Download the iPod Shuffle Reset Utility from Apple and run it.
 
Well, there seems to be no version I can use
