Getting ready to buy the new Imac 27". I know about all of the issues and tests for yellow tinge, etc. on multiple forums. I really want to know if those who have been shipped Imac 27"s since Apple announced they had fixed the issues, whether yellow tinge or irregular coloration, are satisfied with their screens. That would probably be week 9 or 10's or later.
thanks

People are getting mixed results, though the majority now seem happy. There are numerous threads discussing this.

Could you or someone point me to those who are happy with newer Imac screens?

I know about the numerous threads, but where can I see that most people are now happy or happier with newer Imac27" screens. The most recently shipped.

Do the better or fixed screens correspond to the announced official fix by Apple?

I presume that throughout the last 4 months a number of people were satisfied with their screens. I just want to be sure that the chances of a "good" screen are increased because the one I will buy or order now will have been built after the Apple Fix announcement. I suppose that week 8 or 9would correspond to that.

I got a week 9 as a replacement. To my surprise the screen has no yellowing at all. The backlight bleeding is still there and the screen still buzzes whenever the brightness is reduced or the display goes to sleep.
