simple question, looking for a quick answer

Maybe I've been out of the loop for a few months, but what does 'SR' refer to?

I keep seeing posts about SR MacBooks and can't for the life of me figure out what that means. I understand CD or C2D... but this new piece of nomenclature eludes me.

I did a quick search, but only revealed a bunch of posts referring to SR MacBooks.

Just poking my nose and 2p in - Best way to get a quick answer is normally to make your thread title descriptive. I very rarely click on these ones titled "question..." etc. Glad you got a quick answer though
