There are a few annoyances on the iPhone that to me are inexcusable because they are easy to implement. We aren't talking about how to do copy and paste in a touch environment. Here are a few...

-Adding people to or taking them out of groups in address book
-Emailing or texting a group by typing a group name
-Sending or accepting iCal invitations
-Syncing notes over the air
-Syncing tasks

Anyone else agree with these? Have your own wishes?

Excellent points. The syncing bits I 've covered myself in another thread, and quite a few additions to them via mobileme that I suggested.

What are iCal invitations? Are they these small files that you ran and make them ical entries?

An essential one for me, orientation locking!
I don't want to be lying in bed, reading a book and having the screen constantly switch on me. On the phone this is annoying, on an ebook reader, infuriating!

iCal invites are what happens when you add someone to an appointment. It send you a link on your ical and you can accept or deny. That way the apt organizer knows who is coming to the meeting. Also, if you change the apt in any way like time or location, it pushes the changes to everyone.

100000%. Even with the iphone, to read when you lie down and it keeps changing orientation, because as you lie in bed on your side you want to hold it vertical, yet keep the horizontal orientation.

Ah, ok, and how do you do that, by sending them a little file to run and add the appointment to ical, right? Is there any other way?
