The Utility, Chronograph and Simple watch faces all have a date complication in the middle of the circle. On both Utility and Chronograph, you can have nothing, just the date (ex, 29), or the day of the week and date (ex, TUE 29). However, on the Simple watch face, you cannot have the day of week and date, just the date or nothing. Why would Apple not give us the option to have the day of week and date on the Simple face as well?

Why are you asking us and not the guy who coded the Simple face?

(personally, I don't like having the date inside the dial just because it gets blocked by the hands when they point towards 3; it happens with my other watches, too, but they can't reconfigure their dials, either)
