simple workaround to defunch MobileMe gallery?

I've had a visit from some family members and I took a lot of photos. I want to share them with them and other family members. I would have normally just posted them all to a MobileMe gallery, but I think that option is gone now.

Is there a simple replacement or alternative now?

I know!! I hate that it's gone. It was a cool feature. iCloud doesn't allow you to share photos or view them. From what I was told at the Apple store iCloud allows you to only store photos from your iOS device. Which imo sucks.

What I've been doing is using dropbox until I find something. Send your family the link and allow them to view it there. Or maybe try smugmug.com

Apple will be launching shared photo streams in the fall with iOS 6 that will replace most of the things in MobileMe Gallery.
