Updates for desktop and iPhoneSeptember 8, 2008 · Posted by paul · Filed under iPhone, updates, simplifyblog
Weve released build 1055 as an optional update for all desktop users, and we have just received word from Apple that Simplify version 1.1.1 (iPhone build 1053) will be in the App Store later tonight.
For the PC, Mac and Linux, changes include fixes for several errors that can lead to excessive memory usage or a rescan of your local library. We have also added more tests to the Troubleshooting tool. For the iPhone and iPod Touch, there is now an indication to let know when a library is still loading and is not yet synced. In addition, there are better warnings when a network change has been detected or a connection is unavailable.
We are working hard on solutions for a few more problems you have reported, and we hope to have another update available in about 2 weeks. Thank you again for all of the help and support.
Note: installing any update, including build 1055 for the desktop and 1053 for the iPhone, will require a one-time rebuild of your song lists.
