It's very time consuming to draw a good organization using powerpoint, visio or other drawing apps, we need more time to care about how to draw the shapes, how to layout the items in the organization chart, and we have to spend much more time if to change something.

OrgChart (for iOS, macOS devices) the innovative app which simplifies organization chart creating and updating, to help get the organization chart done in minutes. It allows you to create tree structures in a snap without the need to draw the connections. All the work is done for you. All you need to worry about is the details like unit names, sizes, layouts, colors, and properties. The app includes a ton of customization options and the ability to create an unlimited number of tree structures, so it can be used for just about anything. It also allows you to export your charts and share them in a variety of ways.

Interesting. I didn't see any option for importing data, does OrgChart import organization data and if so, what formats?

OrgChart for macOS supports dragging from macOS contact app. I don't know what data format you expect for the app to import, there is no standard for organization chart and no standard for data exchange.

I tried this out today and it seems like a nice program. Will be playing around with it later to see how well it works with Microsoft Office.

Suggest to check out the Quick Start Guide, at http://orgchartgo.com/documents/macos/quickstart

Although there is no standard file format, there are other org chart creating applications that import data from a custom format CSV.

I guess your purpose is to import from other system, via csv file?
