Hi all,
I have a brand new MacBook that meets all the technical requirements of the Sims 3 World Adventures. However, when I go to play, before long, the graphics become funky (Sim turns totally black or invisible; create a sim options are scrambled, etc.) and the game eventually crashes without an error message. I have a NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics card and i'm wondering if it's too new for the sims? So i guess my question is, is there any way I can play the sims without installing a new (older) graphics card?

The fact that it's a card released after the game shouldn't have anything to do with it. I've got a 330m which plays Sims 3 fine with no issues. From what you're describing it sounds like your GPU is overheating.
