I downloaded The Sims 3 via the EA Download Manager via parallels, and put it on my home folder, after that I searched for the Mac Installer and I found "The Sims 3 Installer.app" when I clicked on it nothing was happening. So I opened the console to look what might go wrong and I saw that the access to something in the installer was not going good. I tried to set the permissions in the get info of the installer but it didn't make any difference. I don't have problems with other installers.

Still no solution found, I'm now trying to redownload via parallels. Maybe some files were corrupted.

If anybody has any idea what it could be otherwise, that would be great!

hey guys..i have the same problem you guys have!
I've tried several tips, making a dmg file and putting the contents there and so on, but nothing works..the installer just wont launch.

Have you had any luck?
