well should i just get sims 2 or sit down and pull out my friends laptop every day to play it?

I'm sorry, but this is such a ridiculous question, is a game that's well over a year from being released really that important to you?

Just get The Sims 2 and a few expansion packs off ebay for super cheap and then sell them off again before Sims 3 comes out...
