I was thinking about buying The Sims 2, but then I learned that The Sims 3 will be realized soon. What should I do ? Wait ? Will the Sims 3 be realized also on the Mac or will it be a PC only version at first ?

Anything made by EA will be a Cider port. Cider isn't worth the keypresses used to write it.

Why ? I have Spore on my MBP and it doesn't run that bad I think.

I say why wait. Get the Sims 2 now (great game) and if you are still addicted to it when Sims 3 comes out, then get Sims 3 also.

I'm assuming that the Sims 3 will have much steeper computer requirements that 2 does.
