Sims2 Custom Skins

Can someone please tell me where to place downloaded custom skins for Sims 2 (macintosh)? One site tells me to put them in EA Games>Sims 2>SavedSims, but I don't have such a folder.

I presume I can create one just as I had to create a Downloads folder, but does it go directly into "Sims 2" or one of the subfolders?
