How would I go about simulating the iPad internet browsing experience on my desktop?

I'm dithering over buying an iPad but I do use a lot of websites which utilise Flash and so I'd like to see if I can find alternative compatible sites that would work for me.

I assume if I download Safari there will be an option somewhere to disable Flash content? Is that all I would need to do?

Thanks for any help.

Why not go to your local Apple or Tech store and try one out? You'll get a more realistic experience that way.

I have tried one out and I loved it. I would be there all day if I were to try and find alternatives to all the sites I use however.

Which is why I would like to try it out at home first where I can spend a few hours seeing what I can figure out.
