Granted I'm playing some Enigmo--but not for too long. My phone was dead at 2:30 PM today. I loaded maybe 25 web pages. played Enigmo for 40 minutes. no talk time. a couple text messages.

What is the point of having the games if you have to be near a charger to play?

I'm not so much complaining as if just wondering if others are experiencing similar battery lives now. Is the 3G going to be even worse?

P.S. The industry needs to advance quicker in battery technology to keep up with the power and usage.

Try reducing the brightness (its surprising what difference a lower brightness setting can make to the battery life). If that doesn't help, and you're sure you've tryed as much as you can to conserve battery power, consider a restore.

Mine did this today until I changed MobileMe from Push to Fetch. I was still using push via Exchange and Wifi and BT were both on. If this happens look at your use time and see if the Usage and Standby times are exactly the same (or darn close). That is the one symptom I see when push acts up and keeps something active.

Same here. I have push turned off completely though and I have the location services turned off also but it seems like I can watch my battery decrease by the minute!
