Since iOS 17 unwanted app switching while texting

Hello guys,

since the update to iOS 17 I have constant unwanted activation of the app switcher while texting. So when I am in Messages, WhatsApp or Telegram e.g. or even writing a text here on the webpage. It always happens only when a word gets marked for autocorrection with suggestions and I keep typing, then suddenly the app switch is activated. It’s very annoying. Anyone with any solution? It wasn’t present before the update. I have no 3rd party keyboard installed and my OS is set to German.

Haven't come across this at all. What model and OS version (7.1.2?).
What happens if you turn off auto correction just as a test.

If you disable reachability, it should be fixed.,

Thank you, that was exactly the issue and it helped. For now it seems to fixed, and today was the release of 17.2, let’s hope they fixed it now even in one hand mode.
