Since upgrading my iPadPro 10.5” to iPadOS 14, my “time picker” has gone from the scrollable wheels to a calculator/phone keypad. Ideas how to fix?

Clock time picker is horrible!!!

Tried setting an alarm and it is the worst UI piece I’ve seen Apple put out. You enter a time on the number pad. If you put just the number 7 and am it defaults to 1207am wtf???

Who else dislike the new time picker in Calendar?

I can’t stand the new time picker in Calendar when you create a new event. Am I alone in this?

It would be rather strange for a bug to actually the new functionality around it.

Takes a little time to adjust, just got to get use to change after so long.

At first I didn't like it either, but I have found that it is quicker and more accurate for me than the scroll wheel.

In a few earlier beta versions, entering time number was the only way to adjust times. I do like it cause I enter time very often, but lots of people on this forum do not.

In the shipped version, scrolling feature is back, though I would say it is still a bit one step back cause scrolling is not that easy to pull off like in iOS 13 and before.

Wait, so in the “shipped” version I can revert to the old time wheel?
If so, can you tell me how to access that?

You can still scroll, but visually it doesn't appear the same way with a "wheel".

I much preferred the old scroll wheel, but hey - old habits die hard, I guess.

I hate that if you type it, for example 12:00 it starts from the right like 00:12 and you need to add the extra 00 to get it to move to the front (hour). Who thinks minutes before hours when it comes to a timer? stupid implementation and I've never seen something like that on any date picker in my life

Seems like how a lot of things based on time work. Think of a microwave for example.

They should let you toggle between the old or the new version. I like the old version better.
