I'm thinking of buying a 24-incher with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. The Apple site states that the current MacBook model supports this resolution, but the problem is I have the previous one (first MacBook with C2D). Can someone tell me (100%) which models surely have support for 1920x1200?

No Macbook/Macbook Pro supports this resolution on the built-in screen, but they are capable of it on an external screen.

All Apple current (and in fact, all Intel) computers support 1920x1200 on external monitors.

The Mac mini, iMac and MacBook manage this as the highest output, while the MacBook Pros and Mac Pros can all support 30" screens (2650x1600).

all Intel models, even the CoreSolo Mini, can output to a 1920x1200 screen if i remember correctly. my friend as a first gen Mini and uses it on his 1080p TV as his primary display.
