You know how if you have an App open (lets just use uTorrent as an example) and you then minimise the app into the dock, the toolbar will still be contextual to uTorrent. I would then single click anywhere on the desktop to change the toolbar to finders menus.

Now, I can't single or double click on the desktop. So, I can't bring finder forward or get the "right click" menu for new folders and change wallpaper etc.

Anyone else having this issue? Or is this an option?

Does that also happen after a restart?

It seems to have stuck in my 10.10 install.

I've had this install since day 1 DP1 and have gone DP1 > DP2 > DP3. No reinstalls along the way, and no issues updating the DP.

It would seem to have happened in DP2 and stuck right through to DP3. It seems a restart won't fix the issue.

Its starting to really annoy me, who knew how much you single clicked on the desktop to grab the finder toolbar menus, huh?
