I have had my iPhone (1st Gen) photo option on sync. iTunes began adding three separate photo folders and syncing all of them to my iPhone. Most if not all of the pictures in the different folders are the same pictures. All of the photos that are sinking were taken with my iPhone.

I select the do not sync photos in iTunes and I get a response indicating that if I do so my photos on my phone will/may be deleted. I did not finish the unsync my photos.

I want to manually manage the photos on my phone. Will the photos on my iPhone be deleted if I deselect the sink photos option in iTunes?

Thanks…….

because "sync" is short for synchronization. The same as the above poster, I was hoping to find a picture of an iPhone underwater.

Oh well.

Funny how some may say I'm not contributing to this thread.

Now for maybe something at least partially helpful.

That is strange, I've never heard of this problem before.

Have any of the pictures made it successfully into iTunes? If so, just back them up before you try to fix things. I'll look a bit more into it and re-post if I find anything.

In the meantime, good luck.

All of the pictures are in iTunes via syncing with my iPhone (I took the pictures with my iPhone). I was concerned that iTunes would erase the pictures (that I took with my iPhone) off of my iPhone…….

Thanks…
