Greetings Apple community!

Short and simple. Im using a 2012 MacBook Pro 15" (9,1) its a nice 2.7Ghz, 16Gb ram, 1Tb SSD and I HATE Siri. Im running Sierra and I'm liking it. But I've disabled Siri because I don't have a need for it and its pissed me off in the past.

I have an apple remote from my old 2007 White plastic MacBook that I've been using with this laptop. Every time I press the play button on the remote to pause or play music in iTunes a window comes up asking me if I want to enable Siri. Is there a way to get that message to go away?

Im tired of apple thinking they know what their users want, WITHOUT ASKING THEM and LISTENING! I don't want to use Siri, I told you once take a hint.

Thanks

Julien

If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.

Not sure who you wasted your time telling at Apple, but you just simply cut it off and that is the same as not having it to you.
