Siri appearance changed to old version with iOS 18.2

I’ve got an iPhone 16 and performed the Apple Intelligence waiting list stuff with 18.1, and the appearance of Siri changed to the new style, which I liked.

Since 18.2, I’m back to the glowing sphere on the bottom of the screen. I can’t find a setting to change it. Any ideas?

I don't know, but some things I would try: Restart phone. Cycle settings off and on (Sir, Apple Intelligence). Check locations (is Apple Intelligence supported in your location) and voice settings (is Voice in Siri settings set to American).

Thanks for the suggestions. It was the language. I’d changed it recently to Irish English but I’d read that that would be supported now with 18.2. Changed it to American and it works again.
