Freakin' Apple, it never just works anymore.

So Siri basically turned deaf. Here's what I've done with no success:

Restart iPhone SE
Restart iPhone by holding the home and the power button
Turn off Siri and On
Test Voice Memo and microphone works fine
Turned off Siri and used old school Voice Control and that works fine
Reset settings.

I tried searching for a fix but my last resort is to wipe and reinstall which I don't want to do at the moment.

Any other ideas? Thanks.

Reset settings as in reset all settings on the phone? I was going to suggest resetting network settings, but resetting all settings basically covers that.

Is the Siri sound wave line not moving at all as you speak to it?

Yeah I did the reset Network and All. So annoying to have to add my credit cards for Apple Pay, register my fingers for Touch ID and basically input all my passwords and stuff again.

Siri soundwave doesn't spike at all when I speak to it, and Siri basically says she's listening and the lists of things you can say comes up.

I open up Google Keep and hit the microphone to dictate a note and as I speak I could see my words transcribed perfectly on the note.

It's definitely a software glitch. Gawd damn the ONLY reason I updated was the news media making a big fuss over updating to 9.3.3 or ELSE hackers could compromised my phone. Siri does work on my iPad Pro 9.7 with 9.3.3. Guess I'll wait until iOS 10 to fully use my phone.
[doublepost=1469798682][/doublepost]I turned off Siri for now and I'm using Voice Control, which is limited in functionality. The funny thing is I just started saying a bunch gibberish like on Big Bang Theory, I see the sound wave spike and then my phone goes and dials a friend on my contact list. I wanted to throw this iPhone out the window but at least I had a good laugh.

What happens when you try to enable 'Hey Siri' and set it up?

Same thing if I hold the home button. I had already set up Hey Siri to my voice, by turning it off I had to do it again but I couldn't even get it to register anything. It's like Siri has no ears.

Figured it out.

Front camera mic was broken. Apparently this is the mic that Siri uses, while other apps use the microphone on the bottom.
