My iPhone 14 Pro Max on iOS 17 can no longer turn off an alarm sounding on my wife's phone (which is still on iOS16).
It worked fine when I was running iOS 16.
It now gives an error "Something went wrong with your alarm request. Please try again later."

Anyone else having this issue?

Why can’t she turn it off or you walk over and turn it off. If it’s not working it’s probably the OS16 - OS17 issue

So that doesn't really matter why as this is a supported feature that has been working for several years now, but if you must know, she often is in the shower listening to music with the phone on the counter and her alarm will repeat or a secondary one will go off.
I am usually able to ask my phone to turn it off so the music will resume without her having to get out and do it manually or it keep going off until done.

I was looking for others that have tried this to confirm the issue.

What was the command you used to turn off someone else's alarm?

Ha ha sorry if I was rude. I had no idea this was possible

Just to clarify, when you say “supported” do you mean “it used to work” or is there somewhere this has been described as a feature?

I suppose there's no official Apple document, but there isn't for most features.
Here's a link to the article here on MacRumors when it came out about a year ago and it stems from a Reddit post (which is down right now due to the boycott but will likely be working in a couple days again).

Also, if you search Google there are dozens of similar articles published around that same time on other sites.

Beta 3 gives a different error of "I couldn't find the alarm you asked for" now.
I've reported it again.
Hopefully they'll fix this before final release.
