Siri can't voice dial

I have contacts in iCloud and contacts in Gmail. When I use Siri to dial via holding down home button, I will say, " Call Michael Smith" Siri will say, "Which one? Michael Smith or Michael Smith"

There is no way to get the call dialed.

I turned off iCloud contacts and deleted from phone, leaving only Gmail contacts. Siri now says, "Cannot find Michael Smith".

Anyone else see this kind of behavior yet?

I have not tried to delete Gmail contacts and leave iCloud ones yet.

This may also be why the phone history in the car only shows numbers on certain contacts and not names.

Yeah I have the same issue et replies with about 4 or 6 repeated names but it cant open or select any to dial or text!!

I had all sorts of problems on my initial upgrade to iOS 11 with Siri voice dialing and texting. I finally broke down and did a restore with the beta ispw. That resolved for me.
