When I try to use Siri in my Peugeot 3008.

I always hangs then kicks carplayboff the car. However when I look at the phone it has actually performed the action.
I need to unplug and then plug the phone back in to the car to getbcarplaybworking again.

anybody else having this issue? I have restored and set the phone up as new

iPhone 11 pro max. iOS 13.1.

While I have not experience this particular issue, I have experience many others.

I have used CarPlay since 2015, and it is the buggiest Apple software that I have ever used. I have used it with many different iPhones and 3 different head units, 2 aftermarket and 1 factory, and while the bugs have improved over the years, it is still far from bug free.

The good news is that most of the bugs can be corrected by unplugging and replugging it in.

Hey everyone, this is finally been resolved with iOS 14 (beta), I can confirm Hey Siri FINALLY working 100%.

In all previous versions of iOS 13, the Hey Siri command would freeze and crash CarPlay in my 3008.

Haven't had that issue at all in my Mini, I mostly use the steering wheel button to summon Siri but occasionally use 'hey Siri' with no issues.

I have the exact opposite experience. I've been using CarPlay since 2016.
While I do get the seemingly once a month failure to connect ( corrected either pay patience - fixed before I get to the end of the driveway or just unplug and reconnect ) CarPlay works perfectly. I listen to audiobooks on the drive to and from work and switch between navigation only, audio only, three or four panel display with no issues.

I have also been a user of CarPlay since 2015 ... I use it for at least 2 hours a day almost everyday and have had zero issues.

That quote of mine was prior to iOS 13, and while I had many, many issues with iOS 13, the experience on CarPlay actually improved quite a bit.

My wife and I have the same iPhone model, and she still experiences some issues with CarPlay, but most of mine have improved.

Hopefully it stays that way.

I mentioned on another thread that I think the wide range of user experiences on CarPlay, and other Apple Products and Services might be due to some combination of the devices involved, the OS used, the apps installed, and how the devices are used. Maybe the level of tolerance to issues might be a factor as well.

This is causing some people to say that they have experience no issues with (what ever device), to some people saying that they have problems all the time.
