When I look at my own contact, I see that Siri said she found a phone number in settings. I recognize the number as the temporary phone number that was assigned to the iPhone upon purchase from a T-Mobile store; after porting my # from ATT, that number is no longer associated with the phone. BUT, Siri found it anyway!

How do I figure out where in Settings Siri is picking up this number?

Siri picked it up as soon as you signed into iCloud on the phone with that number's SIM inserted.

Smart lady, that Siri! But apparently isn't smart enough to realize that there's no such number any more? Or when she says that she's found it in Settings, is she saying that she thinks the number is CURRENTLY in Settings somewhere, or is it that once Siri found the number upon my first sign in to iCloud, she can't let it go from her memory?

I know I can click the information I and tell her to ignore it, but I was wondering if I needed to try to track it down.

Settings - Phone - My Number

Settings - Phone - My Number
No, that isn’t it. My Number is correct, and has always been correct. The # that Siri found was a temporary number that I had for a short time, but Siri continued to find it long after I had ported my old ATT number to T-Mobile and, after doing the port, My Number was correct within 24 hours, without human intervention.
