Siri is not responding

Hi.

When i Updated to iOS 9.0 last year, Siri stopped working. When I activate her by holding down the home butten, she starts up and asks me what she can do for me. When I try to talk to her, IT does not work. It is like the microphone is turned off. So I have been waiting for this problem to be fixed in an update of ios, but it has not been adressed. I am really annoyed with this. Does anyone have a solution? She worked perfectly before ios 9. And she works on my wifes phone.

Siri and I are at an odd place right now. She refuses to play music or set dates when I ask, so obviously things escalated and I called her a not so polite name... she then shut down by saying, "I'd never talk to you like that." Yet, she has before. I almost feel like cortnana might treat me better.
In all seriousness though, Siri has sucked since 2014. Apple had her working great, but now she is just not doing her job. :/
Hopefully iOS 10 will give a bigger upgrade and more accurate Siri.
