Siri issues

I use a bluetooth headset with Siri in my car. I keep the headset off my head until I want to use it.

I'm not sure if the following is possible.

If I receive a notification, calendar or text or imessage I'd like the notification to play through my car stereo (as the iphone is plugged in playing music) and then be able to pick up the headset and reply to the text or imessage. Can I do this? If so how?

No, I don't think it's possible as once a device is paired, it won't ask you which device to send audio through until you make a call. You could however go into your BT settings on your iPhone and change the device from there.
