Siri has been lying to me s/p me jailbreaking her. When I command "Call Steve", she replies with the standard "Calling Steve, mobile" like she always does...

...and then nothing. The "Siri screen" just stares back at me as if it's awaiting another command. I have resprung and also rebooted. Thoughts, past experiences, or solutions? Thanks! :apple:

I have had this problem before. It does not seem to be related to a jailbreak or anything, and since it has resolved itself I can only assume its a temporary problem with the Siri servers.

it's got to do with a app or tweak I believe guessing siri related I been having the same issue with my 4s. I know it's something I installed. It hasn't bugged me to uninstall one by one yet in hopes of finding the answer at best it's just abet annoying to me.

Out of the few tweaks I have, that is one of them. You may be on to something. Also, I just happened with a web search as well (that's what reminded me to come back to this thread).

What a bummer, though! The pattern lock is one of the only things I've "envied" about android-based devices. But Siri takes priority over my lock screen... :/

I don't have AndroidLock XT so that.s not my problem but if they.s the case it could be anything. I was hoping I'd just uninstall siri tweaks to'look for the solution. When it bugged me enough.

AndroidLock XT was my problem

I had the same exact problem as the OP.

So, I went into General -> "Passcode Lock" (which is switched off since I use ALXT), and you might notice a toggle called "Siri". Mine was off. But it was greyed out so I couldn't turn it on.

I then turned my passcode on, flipped the "Siri" toggle to On, and then turned the passcode off again.

Now, Siri makes my calls when I ask her to. Ta ta.
