Every time I've tried to use Siri for the last 1.5 to 2 weeks I've gotten the same: "I'm really sorry but I can't take requests right now. Please try again later." I have turned Siri off. Done several hard resets. My software is up to date. I'm really frustrated. Any help would be much appreciated.

When I say I have turned Siri off I mean off and then on again after a reset.

When's the last time you fed Siri?

I tried feeding her doritoes, but alas the ports are way too small
for chips :(
Then I tried coffee, a temperature warning came up and she got upset+shutdown

aww man I just don't wanna break up with Siri :(

xD

Are you using the iPhone 4 or 4s ?

Reason why i ask is that if your using the 4 then you can enter ifile and delete the com.apple.assistant.plist file.

OP i'll be the first person to NOT poke fun at siri again. I've been having trouble too recently. I was on the couch last night, almost silent, and i just got it spinning with nothing happening then the "im sorry... blah blah blah"

I tried just text dictation, just tried one word tests and it couldn't even get something that simple. I just got the 3 purple dots and then they went away.

This started about a week ago for me. Pretty annoying.

Thanks. I actually got a few answers out of her over the weekend but I still get the "I'm sorry I can't take requests right now..." 90% of the time.

Even though I have a pretty posh English accent, I still have to speak to Siri like it's an individual whos head has recently caved in, just so it understands me clearly.

i would like to know why we can't just use the old voice dictation, at least as a fallback.
