SIRi not functioning with Belkin thunderbold2 express dock

I am working with a MAcBook Pro from 2015 13 inch. I upgraded to Mac OS sierra an SIRI is working fine, but when I connect the Belkin Thunderbold2 Express Dock HD Siri does not react anymore on the microphone.

what does it say for microphone in siri? It might need forcing to internal microphone, as the dock has a new audio input that it might be diverting to, without having a microphone plugged in.

I switched it back to automatic and then to internal and now it is functioning. Thanks
