Hi there,

Was wondering in those cities that have public transport in Apple Maps, is it possible for Siri to tell me on my lock screen how long by public transport it would take me to go to my frequent locations, rather than by car and the amount of traffic as it does now?

I agree that this would be a nice enhancement, but I doubt they'll do this soon. Of the 330 million people in the US, this particular feature would probably apply to 10% at most. Maybe a bit more in the UK, Europe and Japan.

Why should that be a reason not to do it? Of course it shouldn't be the out of box default but a toggle to default to it moving forward to those who desire it seems very easy to implement.

I have a feeling if you keep using Apple maps for transit directions eventually it will learn you take transit by default.

A bit more? :) Here in Europe it is the default for most. Google (maps) gets it - why don't Apple?
