Siri says 5’9” height is 5’10” (or 5.8”)

Found a bug with Siri integration into Apple Health. I logged my height in Apple Health as 5 foot 9 inches. If I ask Siri my height she says 5 foot 10 inches. I used a different app to log my height as 5’9” Siri says it’s 5’8”. I’ve deleted all height and started over and it’s the same.

Basically Siri is incapable of returning a height of 5 foot 9 inches.

I think this may be because internally Siri stores the height in centimeters not inches.

Yeah, Siri isn't the greatest, and I think that Siri has actually gotten worse recently.

That said, why would you ask Siri your height? Did you forget?

I was testing the iOS 17.2 Health integration. If it can’t get my height correct, how can I trust it to report anything else in Health correctly.

Maybe you shrunk an inch and Siri's measurement of your gait and optical scanning is just more aware than you are?
