Hi Guys,

Wanted to know from everyone here, what do you guys do about this ? Do you guys keep this enabled or do you turn it off ?

In SIRI & Search there is this option of “Learn from this App” and “Show suggestions from App” etc… Check the attached picture. So do you guys keep this enabled ? Should it be kept enabled? Does it not cause battery drain ? Will it cause battery drain ?

I keep it enabled because it comes in handy.

Switch it on, measure, switch it off, test again.
I bet you won’t save anything’s terms of battery life.
I'm going to guess that enabling this option just gives the Siri & Spotlight daemons more to index. Since the daemons are already running, I don't think there will be any measurable energy usage difference.

This is just a guess of mine, but the option is listed under "Siri & Search" (aka Spotlight for Search).

So what are you trying to imply ?
I'm implying that by enabling the option in Settings, you are giving the Siri & Spotlight daemons permission to carry out their indexing activities on the particular app you enabled in the initial image you posted in your OP. Since they are already running, the extra work added to the daemons is negligible.

But if they were already running why has Apple given a toggler again to enable and disable it ?
