Siri security - so anyone can use my iPhone

So - despite having the phone lock on I* can:

Call people

Send texts

Have my recently received texts read back to me

Look up peoples contact details from my address book

Am I missing something - or is this a glaring security / privacy breach?

Go to Settings > General > Passcode Lock

Turn on Passcode and then set Siri to off. Problem solved. No one will be able to access Siri (or anything else) without entering the passcode.

So every time you want Siri, you have to enable it? Defeats the purpose, don't you think? Or is this automated?

No, every time you want to use Siri (with the phone locked) you have to unlock it first and then use Siri. Just imagine iOS 4... If the phone were locked you couldn't use it before entering the passcode. Same thing with iOS 5 and Siri. Unlock it first and you're free to use.

No, nothing happens if you hold down the button if the phone is locked and you have Siri set to off.

Maybe Siri needs voice recognition, only responding to the owners voice?
